As the leading regional association for emerging local government leaders, MMASC strives to provide its more than 800 members with learning experiences, networking opportunities and guidelines for professional practice. MMASC achieves its mission of "Developing People, Developing Communities" by providing practical learning experiences, opportunities for leadership and guidelines for professional practice. Reflective of this mission, MMASC has continued its commitment to its popular scholarship program, providing complementary registration to the following exciting professional development opportunities.

2023 ICMA Annual Conference Scholarships


The application period for the 2023 ICMA Annual Conference Scholarship is now closed.

MMASC is offering one scholarship for a first-time ICMA Annual Conference attendee to attend the ICMA 2023 Annual Conference in Austin, Texas (September 30- October 4, 2023). The Scholarship recipient will receive complimentary conference registration as well as a stipend to cover eligible expenses, including travel and lodging. The travel stipend will be provided on a reimbursable basis upon submittal of receipts for actual conference-related expenses paid out during the dates of the conference. Under no circumstances will alcohol be accepted as an eligible expense.
